DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assembles, prepares, and analyzes data for studies; statistical models; evaluations; system requirements; and other needs. Uses technical discretion within define d practices an d policies in selecting methods and techniques for determining approaches or obtaining solutions. Assembles, prepares, and analyzes data. Provides technical advice and operating assistance in interpreting results. Provides input or may prepare technical reports based on the expert interpretation of analyzed data. Analyses may be in areas of health exposure; toxicology; human risk assessment; environment; pollution prevention; pollution measurement; regulations; personnel systems; and information systems. Incumbent serves as a debriefer and collector at the full performance level, applying technical knowledge in collecting information from sources in a specialized HUMINT collection program. Coordinates with Defense Intelligence Agency, National Air and Space Intelligence Center, and other government personnel in furtherance of HUMINT collection and reporting activities. In strict conformance with governing Department of Defense (DoD) and United States Air Force directives, manuals, regulations, instructions, and operating practices an d procedures, conducts the entire gamut of S&TI collection and reporting activities related to the travels and activities of DoD military and DoD civilians. Conducts debriefings of DoD military and civilian personnel. Working in a team environment, collector ensures that all deliverables include draft Intelligence Information Reports, Notices of Intelligence Potential, source contact, and related documents are written in accordance with specific reporting requirements. Creates and uses related working aids, reference documents, and data bases in furtherance of collection and reporting activities. Operates wor d processing equipment, printers, facsimile machines, secure telephone devices, and other, similar office equipment. Accesses information on NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS. Conducts research to enable knowledgeable an d precise debriefing and reporting. Travels to debriefing sites. This position requires a TS/SCI clearance.
REQUIRED: 3-5 years of experience
The following are required:
•Completion of the DoD Strategic Debriefing Course, Defense Attache Course, the Field Tradecraft Course, or equivalent training.
•Possess at least 2 years of experience performing HUMINT debriefing, reporting, and related activities.
•Possesses experience, knowledge, or familiarity with multiple intelligence disciplines
•Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate difficult concepts to various audiences
•Experience screening HUMINT sources and documents for exploitation
•Demonstrated knowledge of DoD and national directives and other guidance on HUMINT
•Working knowledge of NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and JWICS systems.
•Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute with no more than one mistake.
•Working knowledge of Intelligence Community security practices an d procedures.
•Exceptional interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to meet and deal with officials of senior rank.
DESIRED: Bachelors Degree in Aerospace or related fields
