Software Engineer - FL
A dynamic company has a need for a S/W engineer or Computer Science person. If you are looking for stability and not being micro-managed; than this is the company for you. This is a newly create d position that is fully funded and ready for someone to come on board.
This individual needs to be technically conversant in high-level computing and mathematical analysis languages (FORTRAN, C and C++, Ada, MATLAB) in order to perform in-depth diagnosis/evaluation of proposed software upgrades/modifications using government furnished tools.
· Familiar with numerous operating systems, such as SOLARIS, IRIX, VMS and AIX.
· Able to analyze radar system algorithms for performance tradeoffs across multiple radar missions.
· Able to isolate the portions of the code causing errors and recommend corrective action.
Would be involved with contracting, budget, operations, engineering, and logistics specialists in the AF program office. Would work closely with operational site software counterparts as well as companies that are modifying or developing new operational software.
Very limited travel.
Must have a least a BS. A Radar background and a current TS/SCI would be a plus.
