Imaging Engineer - Cincinnati, OH
Dynamic company that specializes in sensor technology is seeking a qualified engineer with experience in image processing target detection algorithms used in smart surveillance systems. Work experience in real-time embedded signal/image processing within power-constraine d platforms is a must. Familiarity and experience with detection, classification, fusion, an d pattern recognition algorithms such as Mixture of Gaussians is critical.
Responsibilities will include the design and efficient implementation of imaging algorithms for projects in computer vision and video surveillance. Must be highly motivated and capable of solving problems independently, as well as working as a member of a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and scientists.
Ideal candidate will have a Masters degree with coursework or experience in Computer Vision/Image Processing. Proficiencies in C/C++, Code Composer, and TI DSP’s are desirable, along with familiarity with MATLAB, Windows, WinCE, and Linux.
Must also qualify for security clearance.
